Supply Chain Management Program College of Business University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Ran Jin August 14th, 2015 Internship Report-FALL 2015 Internship is not only designed to improve ability of college students and social skills, but also help those people, including myself, to understand, verify and consolidate learned basic course content. There are many ways to understand the career industry, for instance, read related articles, consult the industry, but the most direct way is personally do the job. In the process of doing, one is able to determine short or long term personal career goals that he or she aspires. During the summer of 2015, Swire Coca-Cola company proffered me an internship opportunity at the department of supply chain in Zhengzhou, China. Swire Coca-Cola Beverages Zhengzhou was established in 1996. It bottles and distributes Coca-Cola products for approximately one billion consumers within central region of mainland China. During the past 11 weeks, I worked with different team members and directly reported to my supervisor and senior manager of the department. The whole supply chain department consists of various subordinate functional teams.
